Brunner Identity Concept

  • A Matryoshka doll, also known as a Russian nesting doll, refers to a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside of the other.
  • My mom (Polish) collects them and we get one every year at the Christkindlmarket (German/Christmas) in Chicago.
  • " Matryoshka Syndrome"-  The way I see myself changes everyday. The way my family sees me differs from the way my friends, my coworkers and strangers see me.
  • My family- We represent Matryoshka Dolls in the sense that we are all very different, but similar and grounded in ways that bring us together. Each Individual is different, but together we complete a nurtured, loving family.
  • Sometimes I feel like my emotions are constrained and cannot get out.
  • Deconstructive/Geometric
  • 3 pages- 11x17
