- · My mother is black (African Caribbean)- My mother’s family moved from Jamaica to England in the 50’s-60’s. My grandparents have since moved back to the countryside It is speculated that my ancestors on my mother’s side of the family originated from Ghana.
- · My father is white (Caucasion)-My grandmother is from Scotland and my Grandfather is English plain and simple. Country-side.

- · My family on by Dad’s side are Christian, they belong to the Church of England. Not sure what religion by Jamaican grandparents are but they are definitely religious.
- · Holidays: New Years, Christmas, Valentine, Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Boxing Day.
- · I don’t really consider myself a religious person. Haven’t been to Church in a long time. I still celebrate all the holidays listed above apart from Bonfire Night and Boxing day.
- · I have been victimized. I was made fun of for having a British accent for a long. There was an incident at a party in high school. Plus, a few times during soccer games. There were also a few racist moments in my mom and brother’s experience living in the north suburbs.
- · I was born and raised in England until I was 10 years old. When I was 11 my family moved to Chicago for my dad’s job. So I still identify as English to a certain degree even though I’m American now.
- · I have some friends that are crossed ethnicities.
- · Point of Tension: The bathroom incident maybe. Or another racist incident involving my mom.
